PARD Osprey 4K Multispectral Binoculars LRF

The PARD Osprey 4K Multispectral Binoculars combine thermal imaging, 4K digital day and night vision, and an integrated laser rangefinder in one compact observation platform.

This 35/50 mm version uses a 384 × 288 thermal sensor with a 35 mm thermal lens, together with a 3840 × 2160 4K visible-light sensor and 50 mm digital lens. This lets you locate heat sources quickly with the thermal channel and then switch to the high-resolution digital channel for clearer identification during the day or at night.

An integrated laser rangefinder measures distances up to approximately 1000 metres, while dual Full HD OLED displays provide a natural binocular viewing experience.

Thermal Detection

The Osprey’s thermal channel uses a 384 × 288 VOx sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch and thermal sensitivity of NETD ≤15 mK.

This allows the unit to detect small temperature differences and helps reveal animals, people and other heat sources even when visible light is poor.

PARD lists a maximum thermal detection distance of approximately 1800 metres for the 35 mm version.

4K Day and Night Vision

Once a heat source has been located, the user can switch to the digital channel for clearer visual identification.

The digital side uses a 3840 × 2160 4K CMOS sensor with a 50 mm objective lens and 0.001 lux sensitivity.

Optical Image Stabilisation helps keep the image steadier during handheld viewing and recording.

Dual OLED Displays

The Osprey uses two 1920 × 1080 OLED displays, allowing you to view through both eyes rather than using a single monocular screen.

This helps improve viewing comfort during longer observation sessions.

The interpupillary distance can be adjusted between approximately 55 and 74 mm.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder

The built-in laser rangefinder can measure distances up to approximately 1000 metres.

This allows you to detect an object thermally, identify it with the digital channel and then measure its distance without changing devices.

Thermal and Digital Zoom

The thermal channel offers magnification from approximately 4× to 16×.

The visible-light channel provides approximately 5.6× to 22.4× magnification.

This gives the Osprey useful flexibility for both scanning and closer identification.

Recording and Connectivity

The Osprey can capture both photos and video.

It supports:

  • Photo recording
  • Video recording
  • Loop recording
  • Microphone
  • Picture-in-picture
  • Wi-Fi
  • PardVision2 app
  • Micro SD cards up to 128 GB

Battery and Runtime

Power comes from one rechargeable 21700 Li-ion battery.

PARD lists a maximum operating time of approximately 4.5 hours, although actual runtime will depend on Wi-Fi use, recording, display settings, temperature and other functions.

The device also supports external power through USB Type-C.

IP67 Protection

The Osprey carries an IP67 rating, giving it strong protection against dust and normal exposure to water.

Its aluminium-alloy and composite housing is designed for regular outdoor observation.

IR Illumination

The Osprey platform can also use a detachable infrared illuminator for digital night vision.

PARD offers 850 nm and 940 nm IR options, with illumination up to approximately 350 metres.

Do not assign either wavelength to this Dye-Hard product unless the exact IR illuminator supplied with your stock is confirmed.

Conclusion

The PARD Osprey 4K OS4-35/50LRF combines three important observation tools in one compact unit: thermal detection, true 4K digital day/night imaging and laser rangefinding.

Its 384 × 288 thermal sensor and 35 mm thermal lens provide long-range heat detection, while the 50 mm 4K digital channel delivers detailed identification. Add the 1000 m LRF, dual OLED screens, recording and wireless connectivity, and the Osprey becomes a powerful all-in-one observation platform.

About Pard

PARD

PARD is an optics brand known for night vision, thermal imaging and multi-spectral devices.

The range includes night vision scopes, clip-on units, thermal scopes, monoculars and binoculars. PARD also makes accessories for many of its devices.

PARD products are made for users who need better vision in low light or complete darkness. Different models are designed for hunting, shooting, outdoor use and security work.

The night vision range includes digital scopes and clip-on units. These allow users to see more clearly after dark while keeping a compact setup.

PARD also offers thermal imaging products. Thermal devices detect heat rather than visible light. This can make it easier to find animals or other heat sources in dark or difficult conditions.

Some PARD products combine more than one imaging system. These multi-spectral models can offer both thermal and night vision in one device.

Dye-Hard Paintball stocks selected PARD products in South Africa. Our range includes night vision, thermal optics and related accessories.
