An air gun (often called a pellet gun or BB gun depending on the projectile) is any kind of small arm that propels projectiles by means of compressed air or other gas, in contrast to the explosive propellant of a firearm. Both the rifle and handgun forms (air rifle and air pistol) typically propel metallic projectiles, either pellets or BBs. Certain types of air guns, usually rifles, may also propel arrows or darts with feathers.

A pellet is a non-spherical projectile designed to fire from an air gun. Air gun pellets differ from bullets and shot used in firearms because of the pressures encountered: airguns operate at pressures as low as 50 atmospheres, while firearms operate at thousands of atmospheres. Airguns generally use a slightly undersized projectile that is designed to obturate upon shooting so as to seal the bore and engage the rifling firearms to have sufficient pressure to force a slightly oversized bullet to fit the bore in order to form a tight seal. Since pellets may be shot through a smoothbore barrel, they are often designed to be inherently stable, much like the Foster slugs used in smoothbore shotguns

At Dyehard Paintball we provide door-to-door delivery service through a reputable courier company. Most orders are sent using a company called The Courier Guy. Alternative delivery can be arranged, but the cost of delivery quoted could change. Your order will be sent once payment reflects in our bank account with your order number as a reference.

Although courier companies are reliable, Dyehard Paintball cannot take responsibility for delays or mistakes from any 3rd party.

Please confirm the delivery address supplied on your order is correct and notify your sales agent immediately if anything needs to be rectified.

We like to use reliable shipping methods at the best price and convenience.

We primarily use The Courier Guy for all orders, unless the collection is arranged.

We send orders via The Courier Guy at a fixed shipping rate if the order is less than 5kg.

Insurance on your shipping can also be selected at an additional cost, as Dye-Hard will not be held responsible for loss in transit.

A box of paint is over 5kg and is charged at a higher delivery tariff, BUT please contact us for free delivery on paintballs when ordering larger quantities. eg. 10 boxes or more.

Shipping vendors change their rates regularly due to fuel price fluctuations, our shipping calculation could be at fault at times. If not happy with the shipping quote provided, send us an email, and we will try our best to give you a better rate, if possible.
