From Passion to Business:

While studying and working in the family business, Gino Postorivo developed a passion for shooting sports. Upon discovering paintball through friends, he became an instant and passionate fanatic. Postorivo played up to seven times a week, kindling a fire for the growing game. The spark ignited a passion that would eventually lead to Postorivo's establishment of South Jersey Paintball Supply.

The Birth of National Paintball Supply:

"The Survival Game" and an early paint gun sparked the origin of paintball, inspiring the establishment of South Jersey Paintball Supply. In the late 1980s, Gino Postorivo recognized the potential of paintball and founded National Paintball Supply East. As the game grew, Postorivo traveled to expand the business, quickly establishing National Paintball Supply East as a prominent player in the industry.

Expanding and Diversifying:

Throughout the Nineties, as paintball and his business grew, Postorivo's National Paintball Supply expanded rapidly. By the turn of the new Millennium, the company had established offices and distribution facilities across the United States, manufacturing, warehousing, and distributing paintball supplies worldwide! Under the National umbrella, brands such as Empire, BT, Diablo, Bob Long, and 32 Degrees were created, while other brands like Indian Creek Design were acquired and distributed.

Promoting the Game:

Initially, as many as ten professional paintball teams belonged to the National Paintball family. Postorivo and National Paintball Supply facilitated the game's exposure on ESPN and acquired Paintball 2Xtremes magazine. Eventually, the publication achieved international distribution of over 100,000 copies on major newsstands. Moreover, the 2Xtremes brand created a paintball TV show on Spike TV, further expanding the game's awareness and promoting its growth.

Founding of Valken:

After the sale of National Paintball Supply, Postorivo founded Valken in 2008, driven by his passion for the game. Valken aims to elevate paintball by improving quality and accessibility. With a dedicated team, Valken works tirelessly to offer top-notch equipment and innovative technology for paintball, airsoft, and defense protection. They prioritize customer satisfaction and strive to establish positive relationships with each client, big or small.
