Intelligent Overheat Protection
In the course of use, the lamp will accumulate a significant amount of heat on high, medium, and low output levels for extended periods. As a result, when the lamp’s temperature reaches 65°C or higher, it will automatically step down a few lumens to counteract the heat buildup. Once the temperature drops below 65°C, users will regain the ability to reselect modes. This intelligent overheating protection mechanism ensures both safety and the headlamp’s optimal performance during extended usage.
Low-voltage Warning
When the voltage drops, the headlamp automatically downshifts to the Low output mode. In the case that it is already in Low mode, a blinking indicator serves as a prompt for recharging or battery replacement. It is important to note that this functionality is exclusively available with the Fenix ARB-L18 Series 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery, guaranteeing optimal performance. By incorporating this feature, the headlamp effectively maintains its performance and keeps users well-informed, empowering them to take necessary measures for uninterrupted illumination.
