EK Archery Revo 7 Crossbow
R12,335.00
The EK Archery Revo 7 Crossbow is a revolution in crossbow design and technology. This crossbow is cocked with a pivoting front lever instead of the more traditional break-barrel or underlever cocking mechanisms.
After the hugely successful magazine crossbows Adder and Vlad, EK Archery is now bringing out a completely new model in collaboration with Jörg Sprave: The Revo7. It is a 3rd-generation tactical pistol crossbow with groundbreaking features and outstanding performance.
The Revo7 has a removable magazine (7 or optionally 12 rounds), a continuous upper Picatinny rail, a fast, comfortable lever-action cocking system and a “real” crossbow lock. The removable limbs (quick-change system) are available in 30, 60, 90 and 120 pound strengths (90 pounds is standard). The arrows have been completely redesigned and have extremely slim carbon shafts (diameter 5.5mm). The slim shape means that the flight characteristics are much better than with the usual pistol crossbow arrows (diameter 6.3mm).
The weapon can be disassembled into its main components (body, limb, Picatinny rail, buttstock, magazine) in a flash without tools and can be transported comfortably in this way.
The weapon has an empty shot safety (the weapon cannot be cocked if the magazine is empty). To avoid accidental discharge, the weapon can be secured using a safety lever that can be operated on both sides. The safety can either be engaged automatically after each cocking process or activated manually (using the mode selector lever).
The repeating technology allows 7 shots to be fired within about 4 seconds (assuming practice). After the shot has been fired, the weapon is ready to fire again in a flash.
The arrows achieve high kinetic energy values. The manufacturer’s specification:
- 135 fps: 7.79 joules. (30LBS)
- 180 fps: 13.85 joules (60LBS)
- 240 fps: 24.62 joules (90LBS)
- 255 fps: 27.79 joules (120LBS)
With the hunting arrows that will be available later as an option, even a hit from the weakest throwing arm is lethal.
The optionally available GoGun 12-shot magazine allows an even higher magazine capacity thanks to double-row stacking. It fits into the Revo7 without any adjustments.
ATTENTION: The 6.3″ arrows for the “Vlad” or the “Mey Interceptor” CANNOT be used.

About EK Archery:
Old hands with new bones are their way of looking at the iterative synchronization of engineering data with manufacturing realities. Is the design of a bow the defining factor of its performance? Strangely enough, it isn't. It's how the limbs, the riser, the cams, the strings, and the components are built.
Over three decades they have observed the product failures of famous archery brands as they insist on price as the bottom line. This attitude towards mass production leads to a decrease in the quality of archery products. Ek Archery Research resists this trend through an iterative manufacturing process that involves our fabrication teams through several stages of design, in order to correct problems as they appear. As prototypes emerge from the design process, these are subjected to the input of end-users.
Trends amongst users are analyzed, and products are redesigned. Great bows come into being and are assembled through the Acumen of our Workshop Masters
