Understanding UV Spray:

Have you ever wondered if UV pepper spray leaves a visible mark? It’s a common question. While sunlight does contain UV rays, it’s not enough to make UV pigments visible to the human eye. UV pigments used in pepper spray fluoresce under a specific range of UV light, often found in black lights or UV flashlights. These lights emit a concentrated beam of UVA rays, which is the key to making UV pigments glow visibly. Unlike sunlight, which includes a mix of UVA, UVB, and UVC rays, the UVA rays emitted by these flashlights or blacklights are what enhance the visibility of UV markings. So, while you won’t see the UV pigmentation under normal sunlight, with our UV pepper spray, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that it leaves a clear mark under UV light, helping law enforcement identify attackers
